Made from an equal part blend of Pinot Noir and Trousseau, the 2021 Le Rouge undergoes the usual 7 day, millefeuille maceration, but this year benefitted by a short addition of second pass Savagnin skins. After a vintage of immense loss, the minuscule quantities produced reflect a wine of delicacy and quiet concentration, with a nearly imperceptible structure that guides the buoyant red fruit and mineral palate.
