A salty smokey wine of refreshment that bursts with salty lemon citrus and textured, peachy flesh. This vintage has greater richness and ripeness than the one that preceded, giving a more tropical feel to the fruit, with secondary notes of galia melon and pineapple. The vines in this particular parcel reach down to a layer of volcanic bedrock which binds all these fruits with an unmistakable aroma of bonfire smoke and lends some good tension to the acidity.
