Pheasants Tears, Rkatsiteli Tibaani, 2020
Handpicked Rkatsiteli, grown in the village of Bakurtsikhe. Fermented in qvevri which are lined with beeswax and sunk into the ground.
Natural yeast fermentations are employed. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulphites. Wonderfully fresh with a rugged structure.
An oxidative, unique style with aromas of raw honey, walnuts, and lightly dried apricots merge with a tannic palate.
