Giovanna and Stefano at Pacina work their vines organically encouraging a vibrant ecosystem and make wine in a very traditional way with long macerations and minimal intervention. The vines are planted on fossil-rich limestone – the area was a sea many years ago. This soil contributes to the mineral backbone giving this wild and vibrant wine a great acidity slight spritz.
