La Stoppa Malvasia Bianca Ageno 2016
Amber in colour and very aromatic with notes of wild herbs, peach, pear and apricot. There are hints of ripe peaches, honey and flowers. Even though it does have a complex, tannic structure, it has kept its freshness and a dry, mineral finish. The grapes are macerated on the skins with native yeasts for thirty days and the wine is matured half in stainless steel and half in French barriques. One of the classic Italian skin contact wines that just gets better every time.
