Koppitsch Ret 2018
Pecan, dark cherry pie flavours. The grapes were destemmed, and fermented naturally on skins for 8 days. No additives. No temperature control. Then they were pressed and the juice was pumped into stainless steel tanks (Zweigelt + St.Laurent) and large acacia barrels (Zweigelt). The wines matured on lees for 16 months without any additives. Then they were blended together shortly before they were bottled unfined and unfiltered with the addition of only 5mg of sulphur.
