With approximately 90% Macabeo with about 10% Moscatel (providing that floral lift) Llorens ferments the free-run juice straight into clay amphora. Epitomising the essence of the Catalan style and with a nuance balance; it is briny, prickly, savoury, textured, but also incredibly aromatic and bursting with citrus zest. Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites

Jordi Llorens is one of the exciting new wave of Catalan producers. He took over the reins of his family estate in the Conca de Barberà, a high altitude region to the west of the city, in 2008 and has been making notable wine using a host of both local and international varietals since.
