A celebration of light on skin red wines, fountains of light red bubbles, bar style dinners and the one and only #barryslounge on the decks. Get the long weekend vibes with a frivolous swirl of the glass and throw back the easiest drinking chilled roses and light reds around.
Starting with bubbles and working our way through a spectrum of styles, we will showcase some of our favourite female wine producers. We will try 5 wines in a wine flight for £25. Bottles of these wines will be available to buy on the night at a discount, so prepare to get tasting.
1st Birthday party!
Survival and Evolution! It has been a complete ride and learning curve, we have made some amazing friends and are so proud of the community that is growing around the shop. We will release some more information as we get closer of some of the events planned.
Please come and join us to raise a glass to survival and bless us to have a thriving second year.
#BarrysLounge will be back behind the decks as tradition demands, the master of the mash up, spinning his array of 45s.
One of our favourite wine importers, specialising in uncompromising natural wines, Otros Vinos, is organising 3 of his producers to come and pour samples of their wines.
This last summer we closed our doors for a few weeks to join harvest with José Miguel Marquez of Marenas (Córdoba). We are super exciting to be hosting him and Juan Pascual López of Viña Enebro (Murcia), plus rising star Diego Losada of La Senda (Bierzo).
As the grape harvest gets underway around the northern hemisphere, we are celebrating having taken part in the earliest pickings of southern Spain. We are looking forward to sharing our stories with you after closing the shop for a few weeks.
Competitions, wall painting and grape throwing will be part of the carry on.
There will be 2 seatings for the banquet. 6pm and 8.30pm
Please ring to make a booking, we will be taking deposits for this event.
For one night on the 30th of July, Patcharee Phesprasert makes a welcome return to London. Phesprasert’s pop-ups began as ‘Pat’s Thai’ in 2012 at Great Queen Street restaurant where she was the sous. The night will consist of a vegan and gluten free banqueting menu, it is likely to be a master class in Thai flavours that made Phesprasert legendary within chef circles.

BIB Quiz returns the first Sunday in July.
Expect Crafty Bua to be back in full swing, with a healthy helping of wine and food questions. There will be a short menu from the Deli and of course zero corkage on bottles of wine, beer and pouches of wine to drink in house on the night.
For 3 weeks in April Harry Fox is taking over the food offering at Weino BIB with a vegan Sichuan menu of plates.
Sweet and floral red oil, deeply fermented roasted flavour bases, soft and juicy rice dumplings. The toasted and complex flavours of Sichuan are coming to London this spring, 100% vegan for the first time! V. Sichuan is excited to complement the work of Sichuan Folk, Bai Wei and others, joining London’s thriving Sichuanese scene for 3 weeks in April.
666IN promotions takes over WEINO BIB to present to you a psychedelic experience to kick off your easter weekend. Expect the night to get weirder and darker the later it gets.
6pm til late, we'll be dropping musical acid and popping coffin lids to bring you a selection of Avant Garde music spanning from 1960 to present day.
Featuring: Marcus Absent and Ghoul & Goblin b2b
No need to throw a tanty, it is over. January is behind us & we are celebrating by bringing our latest freak adventure to you. It's not a wine and it's not a beer, It's both!!! Rich Sangiovese and Saison bubbles will be flowing! Join with us to pay homage and remember the years of cultural history our consumption has gifted us.
Wine on tap from a 20 litre keg, hell yes! Vinnaturo are bringing a range of their wines for you to sample. Try Panse white from Catalunya, light gamey red from Languedoc and Spanish wines fermented in Amphorae and of course the ever popular orange wine from Tuscany.
All these and more will be available for complementary sampling. Our hope is that this will give you the opportunity to find your ideal pouch or box for the silly season.
All of Vinnaturo's wines are made with impeccable natural credentials, no lab bred yeast, no filtering, no excessive use of sulphur. Say hello to helping your body and your planet make it through another fabulous season of mild excess.
This week we are hosting a Spanish invasion, yes Theresa May be afraid! As all our wine importers are slowly forced to raise their prices to counteract their rising running costs, we will refuse to be swayed from our love of European produce. October is the time of year when the new season's wines start to land in London and the wine aficiondos have been furiously swirling their glasses. I indeed had the honour this last week of sharing a spittoon with wine royalty, Jancis Robinson, I was sorely tempted to have a selfie moment but somehow resisted. In the spirit of October tastings, we bring you some truly individual wines in our Saturday night collaboration with importer Otros Vinos.
Lighting a fire literally and metaphorically this Saturday is #BarrysLounge, who is usually haunting such venues as 'Up the Market' and 'The NINES Peckham'. While the soul and disco blend fills the air, so will the smell of that classic spicy lamb sausage, Merguez. Come and join us in devouring #SausageMeatDisco 6pm as usual.
To celebrate the arrival of St. JOHN Bag-in-Box wines at BIB, St.JOHN's is taking over the BBQ serving Ox heart buns and Quail. Adding to the offerings, Harry has some delectable treats from our kitchen including Bobby beans, goat's curd and walnuts and possibly a perfect accompaniment for the Quail is the Cauliflower flatbread, buttery flatbread cooked to order with spiced, roasted cauliflower, preserved lemon yoghurt, tahini dressing and house hot sauce. St. JOHN blanc, rouge and rose will be served for £3.50 a glass!
